How we work
Every guide starts with the live Amazon listings for a category. We read the manufacturer specification, the listing detail, and the themes that come up repeatedly in buyer feedback. From that we build a shortlist and order it by fit, not by price and not by what pays us most.
Each pick says who it suits and who it does not. If we cannot find a real drawback for something, we say who it is a poor fit for instead. A list where every product is wonderful is a list that is not telling you anything.
What we do not do
We do not test products in a lab or in our homes, and we never write as though we have. There are no invented measurements on this site, no made-up scores, and no star ratings we generated ourselves. Where you see a limitation, it came from the specification or from a pattern in what buyers report.
We do not take payment for a place on a list. No brand sees a guide before it goes live.
Prices
Prices and availability are pulled directly from Amazon and carry the date they were checked. They change often. The price on Amazon at the moment you check out is the one that counts.
How we make money
