Does it change what we recommend?

Our picks are ordered by how well a product fits the buyer the article is written for, and every guide tells you who a product is a poor fit for as well as who it suits.

How our picks are chosen
We build shortlists from manufacturer specifications, product listing data, and aggregated buyer feedback. This is desk research. We do not claim to have physically tested the products in these guides, and you will not find invented test results or measurements anywhere on this site. Where we say something is a limitation, it comes from the specification or from consistent themes in buyer reports.
